Chromey Creative is a boutique marketing and communications agency focused on growing the brand of independent businesses, artists, and non-profits. Launched in late 2017 by photographer Chris Chromey, we offer full service content creation such as Photography, Video Production, Graphic Design and Web Design, as well as Marketing Services such as Website Management, SEO, Social Media Strategy, Email Marketing and more.
Based in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina, Chromey Creative is available to clients world wide.
In 1998, Chris graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in technical photography and media studies. He has been working extensively in both photography and video production ever since. In 2010 Chris joined the team at Buncombe County Schools Communications Department, working for five years handling Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, and as the district wide webmaster for the large school district of 25,000 students and 43 schools. In 2015 Chris took a job as the Marketing and Multimedia Coordinator for Jonas Gerard Fine Art, a thriving fine art business with two large art galleries in Asheville's eclectic River Arts District.
In November of 2017, Chromey Creative was born, offering professional marketing and communications services including content creation, marketing strategy, website design, website management, social media strategy, social media management, search engine optimization, email marketing, and more.
Chris is a versatile creative with the ability to get inside a wide range of subject matter. His experience in Marketing and Communications in both the public and private sector, coupled with his expertise in producing multimedia content both digital and analog, as well as knowledge of web technologies, provides a wealth of resources for clients of all kinds. Chris is great with people. He creates a comfortable environment for his clients and has an open and direct communication style.
Chris's personal interest include a passion for concert photography with an affinity for DJ culture. He is an accomplished Turntablist / DJ as well. His travels have brought him to many Spanish speaking countries and he is conversationally fluent in Spanish.
